Construction, Industrial and Packaging Supplies
Hours Monday through Friday. No weekends
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: In this role you will be assisting customers at the front counter, doing some tool repair, and warehouse duties.
- Be the face of our company by greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner upon store arrival and provide assistance via phone and email inquiries. Your approach is to go above and beyond to meet the customer needs
- Complete warehouse tasks including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging of inventory.
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
- Compare and reconcile system inventory levels against physical count of stock.
- Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
- Follow Company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
- Operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
- Develop relationships with our customers by understanding and explaining our products and proactively up selling when a need is identified that we can meet.
- Troubleshoot and repair of nail guns and staple guns for our customers
- Assist with merchandising and maximize our store’s potential by ensuring products are placed exceptionally well.
- Look at our processes with an eye to recommend ways to streamline and create efficiency.
- Effectively problem solve and find resolution to customer concerns.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Meet the Minimum Qualifications – You have at least 1 year of warehouse experience or customer service/front counter experience.
- Relate to our Customers - You develop close relationships with your customers and treat them like family.
- Experience in the construction or industrial supply industry is helpful
- Strong mechanical skills/abilities required
- Forklift experience or comfortable using a forklift.
- Deliver Results - You always find a solution when a challenge is presented and deliver it
- Solve Problems – You are passionate about selling products to help customers overcome problems and provide them with a solution.
- Meet the Physical Demands – You’re able to lift at least 50 pounds of customer product on a regular basis and 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
