The Director of Talent Development and HR Strategy is a highly visible and impactful role at SkyWater.  This role leads HR strategy and Talent Development activities, playing an integral part of developing and deploying future strategies.  In this role, this person will have a nice blend of strategic and hands-on engagement to make positive impact in our organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Alongside Vice President of HR, lead the HR strategy process to align people initiatives with SkyWater’s strategy to drive business success.  Achieve buy-in, manage change impact, and deploy, monitor and report on results.
  • Lead SkyWater’s talent process to drive leader expectations, succession planning, employee and leader development, and create talent strategies which align with SkyWater’s goals.
  • Create competency models to articulate organizational behavioral expectations. 
  • Partner with leaders, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs to create talent workforce strategies which drive SkyWater success. 
  • Champion development through ownership of SkyWater’s development approach.  Engage internally and externally to deploy training solutions, workshops, and development initiatives through various learning channels.
  • Own SkyWater’s performance management process to drive clear performance goals, provide regular feedback and a high-performance organization.
  • Serve as a steward to SkyWater’s culture and core values to enable a highly engaged and aligned organization.
  • Own SkyWater’s employee listening strategy, including an employee engagement survey.
  • Lead the HR Technology and Talent team, instill a continuous improvement focused mindset, and team culture where all feel a sense of belonging.
  • Facilitate the annual people calendar for HR and leaders.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or other applicable field
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in Human Resources, Training or other applicable fields
  • Strong experience in organizational effectiveness, development, and HR strategy
  • Demonstrated experience deploying enterprise-wide programs and strategies which drive real business impact
  • Strong people leadership skills developing and leading inclusive high performance teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset with systems and process experience

The annual salary range for this role is $153,440 - $230,160.  Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
