Human Resources Business Partner 2
SkyWater is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner 2. This role is critical in fostering an engaged and productive environment by managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting HR initiatives. The HRBP will play a key role in conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions while upholding company policies and promoting a positive workplace culture. In addition, this role will participate in the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires, and will drive engagement and retention strategies tailored to the needs of a manufacturing workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Will be the primary HR contact for non-exempt employees, ensuring an engaged and productive workforce.
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Engage in the onboarding process for all employees
- Support performance management initiatives, including coaching supervisors on feedback delivery and employee development.
- Drive engagement and retention strategies tailored to the needs of a manufacturing workforce.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including ADA, FLSA, and EEO regulations.
- Support training initiatives, including leadership development for frontline supervisors.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and labor regulations.
- Experience managing employee relations in a high-volume, non-exempt workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

The annual salary range for this role is $65,280 - $97,920. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
