Summary: Our Internship program offers students an opportunity to receive training in a professional environment. Throughout your internship you will gain on-the-job experience while working along side experienced professionals who provide you with both guidance and autonomy as you work on challenging projects. Our internship programs run typically May - August each year.

 

Project and responsibilities: This intern project aims to improve Yield Systems' core functions by identifying and implementing innovative ways to analyze and optimize yield metrics. The intern will work with the data science and yield teams to explore predictive analytics, uncover trends, and recommend actionable strategies that increase yield efficiency.

 

  1. Data Cleaning and Preparation:
    • Compile and clean historical data from relevant yield performance sources.
    • Identify missing data points and develop strategies to fill gaps in the dataset.
  2. Analysis and Model Development:
    • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends.
    • Develop and validate a predictive model to forecast yield performance.
  3. Visualization and Reporting:
    • Create dashboards for visualizing yield trends, anomalies, and other key performance indicators.
    • Generate periodic reports summarizing findings for internal stakeholders.
  4. Implementation and Optimization Recommendations:
    • Based on model outputs, provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

Degree Program: Completion of Junior year + in a bachelors’ degree program in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math

Skills & Coursework: Data science, Programing, introduction to device physics or semiconductor manufacturing (preferred)
