The Special Markets team is seeking a results-driven Manager for the Gift Sales team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our 100+ gift sales reps across the country.
The primary focus will be on increasing revenue for both our wholly owned and distribution client businesses by expanding existing accounts and actively seeking new opportunities within the specialty gift market. This is a high-impact position ideal for a manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Oversee and manage a national network of 100+ commission-based sales reps.
• Drive revenue growth within existing accounts and aggressively develop new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand our footprint in the gift, toy, national parks, museums, and specialty gift markets.
• Work closely with key account reps in the gift channel to maximize sales potential.
• Provide ongoing support, communication, and motivation to the reps to achieve sales goals.
• Conduct regular rep performance reviews, set goals, and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts for the gift market and key accounts within the gift channel.
• Stay up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies.
• Attend and actively participate in all major gift shows (winter and summer), including the MSA Show.
• Represent the company at industry events, fostering strong relationships with reps and key buyers.
Requirements:
• Proven sales management experience, preferably within the Gift or Specialty Retail channel.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams to exceed goals.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Ability to work well under pressure and proactively solve problems.
• Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with frequent travel to trade shows and client meetings.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
