Teacher Education - Adjunct Instructor
The Isabelle Farrington College of Education & Human Development invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach a variety of courses in teacher education pedagogy, theory and practice. Examples of courses may include seminars paired with clinical experiences, educational psychology, curriculum, assessment, methods, adolescent development, societal issues in adolescents, culturally sustaining education, intro to exceptionalities, and literacy courses. The course sections meet in various configurations including daytime, evening, hybrid, online and in person. This depends on the course and student needs.
The successful candidate will actively promote a collegial environment and consciously apply our mission and values to create a culture of inclusion and belonging; a safe space where all may thrive and succeed. They will also participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion and then apply that understanding to guide their approach to all aspects of their job and the community as a whole. They will demonstrate that we are "Stronger Together" as described in the Office for Inclusive Excellence's Mission and Vision statements.
Please apply online and include curriculum vitae and a letter of application. Transcripts and letters of reference may be requested at a later date.
