Position Overview
Sacred Heart University is seeking passionate and knowledgeable adjunct instructors with expertise across various dance disciplines beginning with the Spring 2025 semester. The ideal candidate should possess a master’s degree in dance or a closely related field. Prior experience in teaching dance at the undergraduate level and choreography is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach up to 6 semester credit hours (up to two courses) in the designated dance discipline.
- Provide on-campus instruction.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Master’s degree is required for teaching undergraduate courses.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Current and relevant professional credentials are advantageous.
- Experience in college or university-level teaching.
- Proven track record of teaching excellence.
- Relevant industry experience is preferred.
