The Davis & Henley College of Nursing (DHCON) is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty opportunities to teach assigned didactic courses in our online MSN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. Courses are 15-weeks long, 100% online, and asynchronous. Will be required to complete a four-week long online teaching strategies effectiveness course offered at no cost by the DHCON.

 

Requirements:

We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:

  • National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with DNP or PhD in nursing.
  • Previous online graduate teaching experience in nursing.
  • Willingness to acquire state license when needed (will be reimbursed)
  • Current PMHNP clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas:

     Lifespan PMHNP experience including psychotherapy

  • Current nurse licensure in Connecticut or eligibility

The Davis & Henley College of Nursing offers a BSN, RN to BSN completion, Accelerated BSN, RN to MSN and MSN with tracks for administration, nursing education, family nurse practitioner, clinical nurse leader, and DNP.
