Full-Time Nursing Faculty: First Professional Degree – Obstetrics
Job Description:
The Davis & Henley College of Nursing (DHCON) is seeking applicants with expertise in Obstetrical Nursing whose primary teaching responsibilities will be with the First Professional Degree BSN program. We are currently searching for faculty positions with a nine (9) month appointment with rank and tenure commensurate with background and experience. The thriving undergraduate, pre-licensure program has over 900 students. Some teaching in the Second Degree Accelerated BSN Program may be required. Anticipated start date is January 2025.
This is a great opportunity to join a stable, highly regarded BSN program with a proven history of student success. Faculty in the DHCON are collaborative and student-centered. Requirements:
We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in nursing or related field preferred. (Candidates enrolled in doctoral program invited to apply).
- Previous experience in nursing higher education preferred.
- Clinical expertise in the following area:
- Obstetrics
