Our experienced staff of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Specialists, Parent Partners and other therapists/counselors provide case management, mental health care and a range of support services in schools, homes or other community settings. Our dedicated teams work collaboratively and in partnership with family members, school administrators and faculty, county social workers, case managers, probation officers and other agencies.
JOB SUMMARY: This position provides clerical and administrative support for all programs at Stars Community Services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Experience
Two (2) years clerical experience in an office setting required.
License or Certification
None
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit much of the working day
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
POTENTIAL JOB HAZARDS
Potential for eye and wrist strain from computer screen and minor lacerations from paper cuts.
Interaction with potentially assaultive youth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties
- Performs general clerical and administrative tasks for all agency programs, including data entry, copying, faxing, collating, and filing documents and materials.
- Provides coverage at the Receptionist desk, including answering phones, greeting guests, and directing staff and guests to appropriate persons/places as needed.
- Performs data entry for routine and more complex client-related projects using both internal (agency) and external (county) computer systems.
- Coordinates building maintenance and repairs and acts as liaison with vendors to address the needs of the physical site
- Maintains office supplies for Community Services, including taking inventory and ordering supplies.
