The Human Resources Manager will oversee and execute HR programs and policies, ensuring compliance, staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and safety. This role requires strong bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills to support a diverse workforce effectively.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The HR Manager will develop and lead systems and initiatives in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, compliance with employment laws, and workplace safety. The position requires a proactive and collaborative approach to serving as a business partner for the management team and a resource for all employees.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, including I-9s and other compliance-related documentation.
  • Manage actions related to employment verification, unemployment compensation, and legal compliance.

Recruiting and Staffing:

  • Lead recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and facilitate external recruiting efforts.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace culture by supporting employee engagement and recognition programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee compensation structures and recommend adjustments based on market trends.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and develop wellness initiatives.

Training and Safety:

  • Design and implement training programs for employees and supervisors.
  • Support the Employee Health and Safety Program to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience across HR disciplines.
  • Experience in manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workforce and lead bilingual initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

  • Ability to move around the facility and climb stairs as needed.
  • Comfortable working in varying conditions, including cold environments.
