Role Purpose: Responsible for design of innovative and engaging user experiences for Humanetics digital products.

 

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to create amazing user experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design of innovative and engaging user experiences for our products. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including customers, product managers, and engineers to create intuitive, seamless, and delightful experiences for our users.

About You:

  • First and foremost, you love creating top notch software designs.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering development.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Including prototypes.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Mentor and coach other team members in UI/UX best practices.

 

Tools and Technologies We Use: Figma, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Flutter, Angular, React, Python, Java, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab, AWS, ProtoPie.

Travel
Up to 10% travel, including international.

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates your design process, problem-solving skills, and ability to create engaging and intuitive user experiences.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in prototyping tools like ProtoPie or Flinto
  • Experience with user research methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
