About the role: 

We are seeking an exceptional Nutrition Subject Matter Expert to lead the development of our Food and Nutrition programs. In this role, you will take ownership of crafting comprehensive, research-backed content that supports specific wellbeing goals, fosters positive habits, and aligns with wholistic wellbeing principles. As the lead content strategist for food and nutrition, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the strategy and execution align seamlessly with user needs and scientific standards. Your responsibilities will include designing engaging programs, curating a robust taxonomy, and ensuring all published food and nutrition content meets the highest standards of accuracy and scientific validity.

What you’ll do:

• Content Development: Research and design innovative programs that enhance the app experience and support user goals.
• Nutrition Program Creation: Develop comprehensive nutrition programs for the app, including tips, nudges, and other evidence-based engagement strategies to promote user interaction.
• Content Review: Ensure all food and nutrition content is accurate, scientifically grounded, and aligned with best practices.
• Content Ideation: Generate new ideas for content that supports user goals, including articles, recipes, and ingredient suggestions.
• Adhere to Standards: Maintain rigorous adherence to scientific, safety, and ethical guidelines throughout all content development processes.
• Curate Existing Content: Become thoroughly familiar with the app’s existing food content and optimize it for the user journey, integrating it into new program development.
• Challenge Curation: Select and refine content to support various programs, challenges, and app features.
• Social and Marketing Content: Curate relevant content for social media and marketing initiatives to enhance user engagement and brand presence.
• Articles: Review articles from a nutrition perspective, ensuring all information is accurate and linked studies are appropriate and verified.
• Recipes: Review recipes for nutritional benefits and include specific details where necessary about key health topics and ensure nutritional accuracy and alignment with the app’s objectives.
• Editorial Support: Collaborate with content editors to clarify nutritional concepts and provide expert guidance as needed

Pay & Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000- $135,000 yearly. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service. Some benefits are not applicable for Part-Time Employment & outside of the United States.
