The Solution Architect role will support the EMEA South Sales team to increase sales of Ross Video technology in various applications. This role requires a combination of engineering/solution-solving skills, and the soft skills needed in sales process. This position involves collaboration with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Project Management and Delivery, and Technical Support teams to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that meet customers’ needs.

What the job is all about:
- Contributing to sales opportunities driven by the Regional Sales Managers, prioritizing efforts based on total impact on the team’s productivity.
- Scoping technical solutions to address customer requirements, assessing customer needs, and recommending solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Ross Video.
- Coordinating closely with the internal Sales team and business partners to align solutions with our customers’ business requirements.

- Educating and providing professional development to the team and business partners to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
- Generating localized sales tools and documentation for internal and external distribution (Presentations, Application Notes, Competitive Guides, BOMs, etc.).
- Engaging in customer-facing product presentations, demos, training, and workflow discovery and guidance remotely and/or at customer premises or tradeshows.
- Pursuing additional business development opportunities and collaborating internally to ensure effective coverage and advancement.
- Ensuring the Sales and Marketing of product lines follow the Ross Video Code of Ethics.
- Ideally based in a major city in Spain and focused on the Iberia and South of Europe markets, while supporting other areas in the EMEA territory as required.
- Working on solutions oriented and highly technical sales opportunities and projects.
- Creating drawings that capture specific opportunities and general variations to support sales opportunities, projects and for use by other groups at Ross.
- Preparing world-class customer-facing technical and commercial proposals.
- Managing proposals for large RFPs.
- Transferring post-sale information to the Project delivery team.
- Acting as a Technical Evangelist to build trust and inspiration with partners and customers.
- Developing and implementing product awareness.
- Providing client feedback to the Product Manager(s) on solutions and product application and market requirements.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 5 years of combined sales, sales engineering, and pre-sales experience.
- Record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable role.
- Understanding of the Broadcast/Media Technology Market (Live Production and/or SI experience is an asset).
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all company departments.
- Existing knowledge and use of Ross Video products (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard protocols and best practices.
- Advanced skill set in using Visio.
- Proficiency in both desktop and server networking.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with CRM tools
- Fluent in English & Spanish required, any additional language is a bonus.
