The Camera Motion Systems’ team is recruiting a Junior Hardware Developer to participate in new product development, product sustaining and customer support for the Ross Video Robotics portfolio.

What the job is all about:
- Generate both specification & design documentation to develop mechatronic solutions as part of a cross functional team.
- Develop schematics and support detailed board layout for designs,
- Circuit design
- DC power design
- Motor control / tuning
- FPGA development
- Hands-on testing / validation of new designs.
- Develop test features that can be utilized by manufacturing test and product verification.
- Support other staff members as necessary through entire NPI process flow – including design, documentation, sourcing, manufacture and test.
- Close cooperation with production and product verification.
Who you are:
- Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in Robotics / Automation development environment.
- Experience designing dynamic systems including motors & drive trains control.
- Digital / Analog interface protocol knowledge required.
- Debug skills, proficient using typical lab-based equipment.
- PCB Design experience – Cadence/Allegro preferred.
- Experience in FPGA development languages is beneficial.
- Exposure to Linux Operating System is beneficial
- Experience working in an Agile project environment preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Hybrid – primarily office based.
