Director, Manufacturing Quality Assurance

 

Ross Video is seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Quality to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) within our Manufacturing Operations based in Iroquois, Ontario. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance as we work to achieve manufacturing excellence across our operations. What the job is all about: 

Quality Management System Oversight

  • Lead development, maintenance, and improvement of the QMS, ensuring solid structure, process manuals, and documentation.
  • Oversee internal audits and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Present quality management reports to leadership, focusing on key metrics and improvement opportunities.

Management Review and Auditing

  • Conduct regular QMS reviews to align improvements with strategic objectives.
  • Manage internal and external audits to maintain ISO 9000 and 14000 compliances, addressing gaps and corrective actions.

Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Facilitation

  • Steer CAPA teams to resolve product and process issues, focusing on quality and risk reduction.
  • Oversee CAPA processes for timely root cause research and resolution to support production and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Guidance for Manufacturing Excellence

  • Advise on improving quality and production efficiency, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Work with senior leadership to set quality goals, adopt best practices, and guide quality initiatives.

 

Who you are:

  • Extensive experience managing QMS in manufacturing, preferably at a director level, with ISO 9000 and 14000 expertise.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an associated field if not QA is considered an asset.
  • Five plus years of relevant experience in QA.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex quality data and generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and influencing quality initiatives across all levels.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools, with experience in CAPA processes.

 Able to travel to support remote operations – valid passport required.
