The Business Development Manager – Cloud Solutions will play a pivotal role in driving adoption and revenue growth for our cloud offerings by overcoming go-to-market (GTM) challenges. Reporting to the VP of Cloud and Enterprise Solutions, this high-impact position offers a driven leader the opportunity to shape the future of Ross Video’s cloud business and drive innovation in the media production industry.

The ideal candidate excels in guiding organizations through cloud transformation by building relationships and strategies to succeed in a rapidly evolving market. This individual must be eager and capable of taking on diverse roles—whether as a sales lead, evangelist, marketer, partner manager, and more—to proactively identify, qualify, and close cloud opportunities.

What the job is all about:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive cloud adoption and revenue growth.
  • Serve as the sales overlay and subject matter expert for cloud offerings, supporting and coaching sales teams and business partners.
  • Evangelize our cloud solutions internally and externally, representing the company at industry events, webinars, and speaking engagements.
  • Identify and address go-to-market (GTM) challenges that hinder cloud adoption by collaborating across functions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling messaging and generate demand through targeted campaigns, webinars, and customer engagements.
  • Train and equip sales teams with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively sell cloud solutions.
  • Partner with VPs of Products, product managers, and product teams to influence the roadmap for cloud solutions by providing market insights and customer feedback.
  • Manage key relationships with strategic partners to expand cloud opportunities and enhance the company’s ecosystem.
  • Facilitate product demonstrations, trials, POCs, and production pilots with targeted customers to showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional RSMs, Technical Solutions Specialists, and partners on tenders and RFP/RFQ responses.

Who you are:

  • Proven experience in cloud-focused business development, sales, marketing, and partner management roles, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and commercial models.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with extensive experience with public speaking.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and remove barriers to market adoption and customer success.
  • Experience training and enabling sales teams to drive revenue for new cloud solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage strategic relationships and partnerships.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable leading in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry, with an understanding of broadcast, sports, and live events production environments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
