Join Ross Video as a Regional Sales Manager – France and be part of a rapidly growing broadcast industry leader. In this role, you will manage sales activities for specific accounts in France, ensuring excellent customer service to client organizations.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, you will proactively grow both existing and new business relationships, either directly or through Ross' designated Business Partners or System Integrators. You will work from home, supported by our EMEA HQ in Reading and the wider Ross team, including the French RSMs and a broader team based in France, to drive sales growth and expand Ross Video’s market presence.

To excel, you should have a proven track record in technical and/or sales roles within the broadcast industry, be passionate about customer service, and capable of building strong face-to-face relationships at all organizational levels. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to convey the value of Ross Video’s solutions compellingly.

 

Who you report to: Regional Sales Director - Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa

 

What the job is all about:

 

As Regional Sales Manager for France, your major responsibilities will include developing new business and maintaining existing customer accounts, while establishing solid relationships with all major companies in the OB, studio, cable, rental, corporate and educational sectors of the broadcast market. You will also be responsible for establishing productive working relationships with Ross Video’s Business Partners within the region. You will be responsible for preparing and conducting technical presentations and demonstrations at customer visits as well as conferences and tradeshows as required. Approximately 30% of your time will be spent visiting customers and potential customers’ facilities providing information and support as required. You will also prepare reports, forecasts, and handle all aspects of account maintenance, as well as ensuring Ross Way To Sell disciplines are followed, including SalesForce management.

 

You should have a deep understanding of broadcast and video post-production technology and business, having worked within a system integrator, reseller, or manufacturer environment. You must have a proven ability to negotiate and manage complex sales through to successful completion and be capable of explaining Ross solutions in detail. Teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

 

You will perform the following duties either personally or in collaboration with the wider French, European, and worldwide team:

  • Discover new customers and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with end users, business partners, and system integrators through direct customer visits to promote Ross solutions and services.
  • Act as a product consultant in collaboration with Solution Architects to help customers solve technical challenges.
  • Negotiate and close sales.
  • Meet monthly order targets.
  • Deliver sales presentations to clients and resellers.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate and territorial goals.
  • Advise and assist end users, resellers, and system integrators in purchasing Ross products.
  • Analyse sales data to inform strategy and support partners in promoting Ross solutions.
  • Represent Ross Video at trade associations and industry events.
  • Coordinate between sales and other related departments.
  • Stay updated on technological developments through trade publications.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years’ experience in TV Broadcast & Audio Visual Industry
  • Experience in Selling & Marketing Broadcast Equipment
  • Strong Technical/Engineering Background
  • Knowledge of Major Broadcast Transmission Standards
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills      
  • Positive, determined, and passionate about broadcast solutions

  • Willing to travel and spend around 30% of time at customer sites
