We are seeking ambitious and talented law students to join our Summer Associate Program, providing an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into the practice of law.
We are currently accepting applications from second-year law students for our 2025 Summer Associate Program.
Position:
As a Summer Associate at Rivkin Radler, you will be immersed in substantive legal work, participating in a variety of tasks across different practice areas. This program is designed to enhance your legal education by providing practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world legal scenarios. You will work closely with our experienced attorneys, gaining valuable insights into client interactions, case management, and legal strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and case strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with attorneys on complex transactions and litigation matters.
- Attend and contribute to internal training sessions and workshops.
- Assist in pro bono projects and community service initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, with completion of at least one year of law studies by the start of the summer program.
- Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in [specific practice areas, if applicable].
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and client service.
Program Details:
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Compensation: The 2025 summer associate salary will be based on a pro-rata calculation of entry-level associate compensation, which is currently $120,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
