River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.
Reporting directly to the Human Resource Recruiting Manager, or Chief Human Resource Officer. River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking to hire an ambitious, dedicated, friendly, professional Human Resource Specialist to support every aspect of our HR team. You will be responsible for the entire day-to-day administration of our HR function, and you will help the HR management ensure the smooth running of the company.

Location/Schedule: 175 Emery Highway, Macon, Ga
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the first point of contact for all HR customers, managers, new hires, and HR partners. Demonstrate strong telephone and in-person communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented. Must demonstrate strong judgment and time management skills to manage inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Responsible for fingerprint processing with a sense of urgency.
- Responsible for maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases to support HR Operations and Compliance.
- Process and maintain records for offsite file storage.
- Work closely with HR Compliance, Development, and Operations to maintain personnel files, and procedural inquires.
- Scheduling and booking conference room(s) for interviewing/training.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement activities.
- Provide administrative support for all the HR department and assist in other areas as needed.
- Process and review a variety of documents such as HR Forms and employee files for completeness, accuracy, and submission standards.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Operate a variety of office equipment including computers, related software, photocopies, fax machines, and printers.
- Organizing, ordering, and maintaining the department office supply room.
Qualifications/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Professional demeanor on the telephone and in-person.
- 1-3 years of HR-related experience required.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new HRIS and support software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills, including communication, presentation, and relationship building.
- Excellent organization and follow-through skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal daily supervision.
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members, internal and external customers within River Edge, and external customers to meet goals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment to make decisions related to the HR function.
