River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Administrative Assistant provides exemplary support to River Edge’s Community Service Board of Directors and River Edge Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The Administrative Assistant performs tasks including front office reception duties, arranging travel, assisting with board meeting preparation and assisting the Foundation office with philanthropic activities. The Administrative Assistant must be creative and enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community-oriented. The ideal individual will demonstrate the utmost confidentiality, exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, and have strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks for the Executive Assistant to the CEO including drafting letters, memos, reports, and other documents with impeccable attention to detail.
- Perform office tasks including maintaining records and ordering supplies.
- Greet and direct visitors appropriately.
- Arrange travel and accommodation.
- Perform additional duties for other executive staff as assigned by the Executive Assistant.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and trustees, external partners, and donors.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service.
- Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of related experience.
