Leasing Representative
About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a Leasing Representative to join our regional office located in Walnut Creek. The Leasing Representative will help to identify and close small shop leasing deals (new & renewal) under the direction of others, as well as effectively source new deals through canvasing and/or utilization of lead generating platforms and/or networking with industry brokers. This role will be responsible for successfully implementing Regency’s standard leasing procedures.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identifying qualified prospects to lease and occupy available vacant space in new and existing shopping centers/developments.
- Renewing existing tenants’ leases to achieve maximum revenues while improving or maintaining tenant retention and satisfaction
- Generating production/activity reports through Deal Connect.
- Preparing strategic plans, abstracting leases and working on marketing strategies with the marketing department to better merchandise the assigned portfolio.
- Receiving on-the-job training education.
Are You Qualified?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Real Estate from an accredited university
- California Real estate salesperson license preferred
- At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in real estate leasing, property management, or a related field
- Knowledge of the local real estate market and local broker/landlord community
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel throughout the market
- Basic knowledge of the retail leasing industry and of lease or sales contract terminology
- Understanding of P&L statements, credit reports and balance sheet information
- Quantitative and analytical skills

*California Residents: Regency Centers carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The Walnut Creek hiring salary range for the Leasing Representative position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually. The base salary is just one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including eligibility for a 20% target bonus opportunity. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
