As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be working with our subject matter experts and other internal stakeholders to analyze, recommend, author, and deliver high quality documents such as position descriptions, policies, procedures, desk manuals, and handbooks.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Review, research, and author policies and procedures, handbooks, desk manuals, and SOPs.
  • Perform gap analysis, manage updates, and make edits to employee handbooks.
  • Organize, publish, and maintain documents in SharePoint (or similar document management systems) in such a way that information is easily accessible.
  • Investigate/Respond to client issues and concerns.
  • Research employee relations issues and provide recommendations to Consultant.
  • Ensure that client’s policies are followed and legal obligations to employees are met to minimize risk to client and maximize employee morale.
  • Assist in conducting workplace investigations and drafting responses to agency charges for Principal review.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between client employees.
  • Perform analysis of timecard audits, turnover, and progressive discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal/State labor law.
  • Act as a contact for employee injury and Worker's Compensation.
  • Assist with employee terminations.
  • Work closely with clients to resolve any payroll questions or issues.
  • Design new hire orientation, onboarding, and off-boarding programs, assisting in implementation as needed.
  • Other duties and special projects as needed.

  • Ability to readily identify operational needs, determine causes, and provide recommendation to remediate issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set and re-set priorities.
  • Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, organization development, finance/accounting or related field
  • Three years of policy & procedure technical writing experience.
  • Two years of experience conducting employee relations investigations.
  • Must have clear understanding of human resources related topics including employee relations, benefits, compensation, recruitment, performance and development, termination, and state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Must have working knowledge of human resource laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Must have working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • THRP designation (Tribal Human Resources Professional) preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional or Senior Professional (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) credentials (preferred).

The potential annualized pay range for this position is $91,600 to $137,400. We make compensation offers within the range based on a range of individual factors, including but not limited to location, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs, and applicable employment laws. These factors may also be taken into consideration to offer above or below the range.
