Summary:
Prosperity Life Insurance Group, LLC is looking for a dynamic manager able to:
- Connect the dots between entity and enterprise financial performance
- Understand financial statements and regulatory / rating agency capital models
- Become an integral part of shaping the enterprise capital management function
- Assist with analyzing GAAP and STAT financial results
- Explain product, entity and enterprise performance to senior management and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate will be:
- Working toward or already obtained ASA/FSA, CFA, or CPA designations

Location: Austin, TX or New York, NY. Will consider remote candidates with exceptional insurance capital management experience. Occasional travel to New York is required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead all aspects of rating agency capital model maintenance, quarterly refreshes and proforma analysis of potential transactions
- Collaborate with finance and actuarial teams to build capital forecasting models
- Monitor developments and participate in industry focus groups for regulatory and rating agency capital changes
- Preparing and explaining the business plan and reforecasts on STAT and GAAP basis
- Preparing and improving stakeholder material for:
- Board and Audit Committee financial performance reviews
- Rating agency presentations
- Equity and debt investor presentations
- MD&A and Financial Supplements
- Preparing and reviewing rating agency capital models
- Performs peer review on the current processes and improves controls
- Drives automation of processes and enhances financial analytical capabilities in order to provide valuable insights to management
- Assists with various FP&A ad-hoc analysis
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant insurance financial and/or insurance capital experience, preferred to be in life/annuity insurance industry
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or actuarial science
- ASA/FSA or CFA or CPA designation
- Experience in GAAP and Statutory insurance accounting
- Strong analytical skillset and business acumen
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, in accordance with deadlines, and with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to quickly adapt to deviation from a pre-planned schedule
- Ability to work independently, but also within specific parameters and guidelines
- Effective communication and relationship building skills with both internal and external business partners
- Highly proficient in Excel, Power Point, Power Query, and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing and explaining annuities and life financial performance
- Experience analyzing and explaining both regulatory and rating agency capital models
