Project Manager I - Community
Make an Impact
As the Project Manager I, you are responsible for leading project teams and fostering effective client relationships. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and quality while monitoring the team’s financial performance. With guidance from a Senior Project Manager and Team Leader, you will gain valuable experience while optimizing processes, aligning plans, and demonstrating resourcefulness.
Deliver Results
- Lead internal and external project teams, including consultants, through effective communication and teamwork.
- Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring scope and preparing project history upon completion.
- Mentor team members and collaborate in performance planning with Team Leaders.
- Ensure project quality through Quality Assurance/Quality Control milestones, coordination, and proactive issue resolution.
- Plan, monitor, and control technical costs to achieve project profit goals.
- Identify marketing opportunities with current and past clients and assist with proposals and interviews.
- Collaborate with Practice Leaders to establish project scope, schedules, and budgets during proposal development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interiors, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- CSI-CDT certification required (training provided). Professional registration in your field preferred. Certification through PSMJ/PMI preferred.
- 5 years of experience with AE projects, preferably in an architecture, engineering, or construction professional service firm.
- Solid understanding of A&E work standards, processes, and policies with working knowledge of project delivery methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multiple project delivery methods.
- Master’s degree and professional registration in a related field.
