Structural Engineer II - Community
As a Structural Engineer, you are an experienced Structural Engineer with a proven ability to design and develop structural systems for a variety of building types as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. You will lead the design process from concept to final construction documentation, ensuring quality and adherence to budget and schedule. Your expertise in structural engineering, coupled with your leadership skills, will drive results while mentoring others and fostering collaborative relationships.
Deliver Results
- Lead the design and development of structural systems, performing structural analysis, modeling, and documentation for diverse building projects.
- Ensure integration of structural designs with other disciplines and resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide quality assurance/quality control measures across all project phases.
- Mentor, train, and direct less experienced staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
- Attend site visits to address field issues and ensure compliance with project documents.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and scope changes effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) OR the ability to obtain a PE or SE. Multiple state licensures preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in structural engineering with diverse project experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, RAM Elements, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- NCEES registration, NSPE membership, and CSI-CDT certification.
- LEED AP BD+C and WELL AP certifications.
- Experience with Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
