PW Valet Ambassador*
 
Primary Responsibilities:As an integral part of a team, Valet Ambassador is responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve Guests’ experience by providing exceptional guest service to driving the hotel vehicles and transporting hotel guest to/from assigned destinations safely, efficiently and courteously.  Adhere to all local and state diving laws.  Ensures safety and security of passengers and vehicles.  

Essential Duties:

  • Greet and acknowledge all arriving/departing guests.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Answers Bell Desk phone within 3 rings and records guest requests on call sheet.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Review Daily Buzz, Reader Boards and Guest Letter Activities.
  • Review the log book (meet with Supervisor) to learn daily business activity and assignments.
  • Greet and acknowledge all arriving/departing guests.
  • Remain in assigned post position, maintaining correct stance.
  • Opening and closing the hotel main entrance doors for guests
  • Opening and closing guest vehicle doors.
  • Assist customers with carrying of personal belongings to and from their cars.
  • Providing directions or other helpful information about the local area.
  • Inspect vehicle for damages; mark on valet tag the appropriate damage.
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers’ luggage into/out of the vehicle.
  • Park vehicle in designated valet stalls.
  • Obey all traffic and driving regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize and coordinate multiple task with various departments and guests.
  • Perform all other duties as may be required or assigned
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor, non-air conditioned environment.
  • Indoor, air-conditioned environment.
  • Exposure to variable temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Exposure to fumes, odor hazards, dust mites, and/or chemicals.

Work Hours:

  • Schedule will be based on operational needs.

Equipment Use:

  • Ability to drive automatic and standard vehicles

Mental and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to handle irate guests and remain calm and friendly
  • Must be able to work under pressure, manage stressful situations, and multi-task
  • Must be able to run to retrieve vehicles.
  • Must be able to load/unload items from vehicles.
  • Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
  • Ability to lift items up to _50__ lbs.
  • Ability to reach up to ___12___ inches.

Communication Demands:

  • Must be able to verbally communicate in person and over the phone clearly and effectively.
  • Must be able to follow verbal or written instructions.

 

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in English (oral and written) to effectively perform job functions.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Abstract (3 years no moving violation).
  • Minimum 2 year experience driving vehicles.
  • Prefer 1 year customer service experience

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace. Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests who visits the hotel.
