Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring an Annual Giving Coordinator to join our Development team!

PPCW is the largest non-profit family planning and reproductive rights organization in Oregon and Southwest Washington. 

The Annual Giving Coordinator is responsible for supporting PPCW’s Development Department, and coordinating work associated with Annual Giving, including annual giving events, donor communications, volunteers, database and administrative projects, and other activities as needed.

Compensation: Starting rate of pay is $22.26 - $26.60, 
depending on experience. Annual step increases are determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) ​ Monday – Friday.

  • Employees may be requested or required to occasionally work other days (including weekends), hours and locations to meet operational needs.
Position Details: Hybrid/remote work options will be discussed in the interview process. This is a union represented, hourly (nonexempt) position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One (1) year professional experience at a nonprofit organization with project execution and/or fundraising role.
  • Two (2) years direct customer service experience.
  • Experience with donor management software; experience with Blackbaud products preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate Annual Giving activities, including but not limited to online campaigns (such as the Willamette Week Give!Guide), workplace giving programs, Combined Federal Campaign, sustainer giving program, and third-party events.
  • In collaboration with Development team, coordinate Annual Giving stewardship activities, database projects, and administrative projects.
  • In coordination with Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon, coordinate online donor messaging, including donor e-newsletters, campaign solicitations, invitations, social media postings, and general donor correspondence.
  • Provide support for all Annual Giving fundraising and stewardship events, including coordination and execution of invitations, RSVP tracking, registration and data entry, logistics, day-of set up and clean up, and guest acknowledgement.
  • In collaboration with Donor Database Administrator, assist with coordination of database maintenance projects, identify areas of improvement, propose data improvement projects to appropriate staff, and coordinate project execution. Track unsubscribes, bounces, and opt-outs. Manage deposit log on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare, edit, and update Annual Giving and Operations related Standard Operating Process (SOP) documents.
  • Coordinate department administrative volunteers and interns; maintain responsibility for the completion of their duties in a timely manner.
  • With direction from department leadership and manager, coordinate ongoing database workflows for ongoing and one-time donor communications projects (such as donation stewardship).
  • Serve as primary contact for incoming phone calls and emails
