Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.
The purpose of the Wellness Liaison is to administer the daily activities and maintain high quality standards for all aspects of medically integrated programs, perform outreach to healthcare professionals and referring providers, acquire and enroll new participants in the center’s medically integrated programs, and represent and promote the center in the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Administer the daily activities and maintain high quality standards for all aspects of medical-integrated programs, including tracking of all referrals, enrolling participants, tracking of all participants from program enrollment to program completion.
2. Work collaboratively with fitness staff and personal trainers in relation to medically integrated programs and ensure that they are providing a customized exercise program based on assessment results and appropriate communication with referral sources.
3. Oversee, ensure compliance, and actively participate with all physician approval and clearance procedures, for medically integrated programs.
4. Perform outreach to health care and referring providers to develop, implement and maintain medical referral pathways to ensure program growth.
5. Serve as the communications liaison among center and referral sources; serve on the Medical Advisory Committee as needed.
6. Work with center membership team to assist in the transition of participants to membership following completion of program.
7. Achieve volume and financial budget expectations for medically integrated programs.
8. Responsible for ensuring participant summary reports are provided to the referring healthcare provider.
9. Respond to member feedback with a high level of professionalism.
10. Have the ability to perform all the duties outlined in applicable position descriptions as needed based upon the position requirements.
11. Encourage employee professional growth through training, supervision, empowerment, continuous performance management and feedback.
12. Provide regular feedback, write and conduct interim and annual performance reviews.
13. Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
14. Participate in management meetings and all-team meetings.
15. Assist with department work schedules and timecards.
16. Assist with hiring and training staff as applicable.
17. Work Manager on Duty shifts as assigned.
18. Maintain friendly, well trained and customer service-oriented staff, and inter-department relationships.
19. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
20. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.
21. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules and scheduling appointments for prospects and members.
22. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties.
23. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures including the use of facility paging system and confidence in calling and communicating with EMS.
24. Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training.
25. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work-related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook at the time of hire.

27. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED required.
-Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or a health-related field preferred.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or the fitness/wellness industry preferred, preferably in a fitness facility.
-CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
-Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner.
-Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
-Proficient computer skills.
-Excellent sales, marketing, writing, presentation, and tracking skills required.
