We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Food Runner. As a key member of our hospitality crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of our buffet service during the evening lūʻau event. Wages:

• Starting at $16/hour  

Responsibilities:

• Buffet Management:
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the luau buffet before and after service hours.
  • Ensure the buffet area is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing throughout the event.
• Food Presentation:
  • Monitor food levels and replenish dishes as needed to maintain an attractive and inviting presentation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of food replenishments.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Have a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Provide assistance and answer basic questions regarding the buffet offerings.
• Timing and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the serving staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated dining experience for guests.
  • Maintain awareness of guest flow to anticipate and address needs promptly.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation:
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold high hygiene standards.
  • Keep serving stations clean and organized throughout the event.

Working Hours:

• The position is part-time, working from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM during events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Experience, knowledge, and skills required:

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
