Project Coordinator (Rental Division)

Are you a detail-oriented, highly organized professional passionate about project coordination? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and problem-solving are key? If so, Pacific Mobile is seeking a Rental Projects Coordinator to join our dynamic Rental Projects Team at our San Marcos branch!

As part of our team, you’ll play a vital role in managing rental projects across Texas. From coordinating building deliveries to overseeing compliance documentation, your contributions will ensure smooth operations and outstanding customer experiences.

Work Type: Onsite

Location: San Marcos, TX

Schedule: 

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8am - 5pm

Pay range: $24.14 to $27.23 an hour DOE

 

What You’ll Do.

In Your First Few Months, You Will:

  • Receive comprehensive training in Rental Projects Coordinator procedures and leasing operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales Associates and Superintendents to execute construction rental projects.
  • Learn the ins and outs of assembling and installing commercial modular structures.
  • Develop strong working relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Assist with invoicing, collections, and repossession procedures.
  • Manage daily rental project scheduling, ensuring timely deliveries, pickups, and unit moves.
  • Maintain accurate records in our company database for subcontractors and customers.
  • Answer and direct calls via a multi-line phone system, providing excellent service.

Within 12 Months, You Will:

  • Take on greater responsibilities as your expertise grows.

What You Need to Succeed.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project).
  • Experience managing project change orders, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Strong understanding of prevailing wage requirements, Davis-Bacon Act, and union labor rates.
  • Ability to interpret cost codes, budget estimates, and detailed scopes of work.
  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations related to transportation and logistics.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experiencecoordinating construction projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative supportin a sales or project management setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly define project requirements.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate and problem-solve with team members, contractors, and vendors.
