Pay range: $95,000 - $105,000 + 1% commission on gross profits on the jobs you manage.

We are seeking a skilled Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising construction sites and managing project budgets.

- Become an integral member of the Sustainable Modular Management Construction Services Team and responsible for the site management of projects ranging from $200K - $2M
- Complete a thorough training of our division’s operational procedures.
- Be assigned to work with a Project Manager and project coordinator to execute various construction projects.
- Learn how commercial modular structures are assembled and installed.
- Develop relationships with our factory partners, vendors, and customers.
- Be directly involved with the assembling of estimates/bids on various projects.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ability to travel frequently working in remote locations.
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Communicate with project team regarding any change order directives.
- Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
- Perform the superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
- Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
- Walk projects daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Preside over subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification through completion.
- Provide site inspections that will assist the estimating team with the budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
- Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
- Provide the project team accurate job progress, and schedules.
- Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope.
- Preside at pre-construction meeting.
- Communicate using the following tools: telephone, written logs, email, computer, Phones/Pads devices.
Education, Experience and Requirements:
- Ability to obtain Government clearances for project access
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, teams)
- Adobe and Blue Beam Review
- Understanding of labor compliance requirements for Davis Bacon, Prevailing wage, and labor classifications
- Competency reading and understanding civil and building plans and specifications.
- Experience in commercial construction and full site development - grading, excavation, utility concrete, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Safety protocols, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to identify and convey requirements of the project.
- Ability to collaborate with the team.
- Thorough knowledge of construction trades.
