Account Executive
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Account Executive will be responsible for the growth of mechanical and hydraulic tubing sales within Hydraulic, Fluid Power, Heavy Equipment, Firearms, Automotive and other large industrial market segments. Independent prospecting and selling activities within industrial customer base.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Within first 60 days - Identify and create plan to grow major OEM prospects within target markets
- Create high-value relationships with prospects through a demonstrated understanding of their business needs and potential solutions.
- Analyze the growth potential of build targets.
- Work with Business Development team to develop a plan to prioritize and execute cold calls to drive new opportunities
- Schedule in person visits to target customer to learn operation by walking floor and explaining value proposition
- Create high-value relationships with prospects beyond purchasing = acquire a minimum of 10 new contacts, not purchasing per month at target accounts
- Acquire a minimum of 2 new accounts per month
- Exceed monthly quota on a month-over-month basis.
- Maintain a 30/60/90-day pipeline.
- Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts and go get goals
- Other duties may be assigned
EXPECTATIONS:
- 25% of your time will be prospecting
- 40% of your time will be face-to-face with clients
- 20% Researching and understanding market trends and potential new applications
- 15% Networking and growing contact database
*Note: this position requires 50-75% travel
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 5+ years of business-to-business selling experience, or a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Bachelor's Degree in sales, business, or technology.

- Manage time …. Sense of urgency… Prioritize multiple top opportunities with appropriate urgency
- The ability to reach and talk executive/ C-Suite strategize and close
- Ability to leverage internal executives to help move to close
- Ability to work independently throughout the sales process and effectively utilize resources to get desired results.
- Experience in using sales tech stack (CRM, PowerBi, ZoomInfo)
