We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead the HR Delivery and functional partnerships across the company and its six plants/mills.

Position Summary:

Are you an HR superhero with a knack for strategy and a heart for people? We’re on the hunt for a Director of Human Resources to spearhead our HR delivery and manage our fantastic HR managers at each of our mills and plants. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make Plymouth Tube the best place to work – while making HR processes as smooth as our finest products!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Impact:
    • Shape and execute HR strategies that drive our business forward and align with our vision.
    • Guide and support our HR managers across all locations, ensuring a cohesive and stellar HR experience.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to tackle challenges and spearhead exciting change initiatives.
  • Team Builder Extraordinaire:
    • Inspire, mentor, and grow our HR team, ensuring they’re motivated and ready to rock.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration among HR managers to share insights and tackle challenges together.
    • Support professional development and guide your team to reach new heights.
  • Employee Engagement Guru:
    • Create a vibrant and inclusive work culture where everyone feels valued and engaged.
    • Address and resolve employee concerns with a smile and a solution-focused attitude.
    • Develop initiatives that make our workplace the best place to build a career.
  • Compliance Champion:
    • Ensure we’re always on top of employment laws and regulations.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and proactively address potential HR issues.
  • Talent Trailblazer:
    • Partner with TA on recruitment process to bring in the best and brightest talent.
    • Develop talent management programs that help our people grow and shine.
    • Partner with management to anticipate workforce needs and plan accordingly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR certification is a plus).
  • At least 10 years of HR experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing HR functions across multiple locations.
  • A deep understanding of employment laws and a talent for compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker who can drive change and inspire others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with grace.
