Assistant Supervisor 3rd Shift
Under the direction of the Production Manager/Supervisor, the assistant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production functions. The assistant Supervisor must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and efficiency of the operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in production, OEE,5s, changeovers, and daily operations
- Reviews manufacture master schedule to ensure proper process is being followed
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
- Assists with all job functions in Manufacturing/Production
- Analyze run rates to ensure efficiency is met
- Resolve any manufacturing issues such as equipment issues, product issues for inefficiencies
- Assist in identifying areas for training and development of associates
- Maintain 100% cGMP & Compliance during production operations
- Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain regular work attendance
- Identify any potential safety hazards and address with Production Manager and Supervisor
- Oversees and takes responsibility for production operations in absence of area supervisor
- Additional duties as assigned, but not limited to
Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/Production and at leading a production team.
- Must be able to read/write English
- Must be available for overtime when needed
- Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent and quick decisions
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Microsoft word, excel)
- Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment
