Shift Lead- 3rd Shift
A Shift Lead in manufacturing is responsible for hands-on working with the production associates during a specific shift. The Shift Lead ensures smooth operation by managing production processes, maintaining high quality standards and enforcing safety regulations. All while achieving production targets and providing leadership and guidance to their team; on the manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate production output to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production needs.
- Identify and address production bottlenecks / constraints as needed.
- Hands on working with the manufacturing associates.
- Ensure changeover time is executed as defined.
- Trains associates on SOP’s and cGMPs as required.
- Ensures Safety rules, GMPs and SOPs are being followed.
- Assists with all job functions on the manufacturing floor.
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
- Coach and counsel associates.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the shift to maintain high quality products standards.
- Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Train operators on proper quality procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must comply with GMP requirements.
- Must have 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to read/write English
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standards relevant to the production machine.
- Ability to stand/walk for entire shift in the Manufacturing facility.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively lead a team.
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
- Ability to identify and correct incidents in the production processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety regulations.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Proficiency in using production management systems to track data and generate reports
Role’s Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours is this something you would be comfortable with
- Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
