As an operations support associate, you will have a variety of responsibilities supporting both our transportation department and our reception area. 
   

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm 
Pay: $17.50/hour 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Transportation Department 
  • Ship & Confirm Previous Day’s Shipments
  • Create & Print BOL/ Labels and Label Skids
  • Schedule Pick Ups & Appointments
  • Communicate to other support departments (Sales and customer service)
  • Track and Troubleshoot Shipments
  • Contact Customers: verification of shipping info
  • Schedule PO’s and Loads
  • Damage Tracking and Processing
  • Process Monthly Pallet Spreadsheet for Drivers
  • Monitor Receiving Window
  • Bill of Ladings Processing
  • Answers phones in a professional manner
  • Sort and distribute mail daily
  • Order Office Supplies
  • Assist in keeping breakroom clean and ordering supplies
  • Process coupons and frequent buyer cards
  • Participates in a safety culture that includes no recordable accidents and no loss time injuries.  Always make the safe choice.  Watches out for co-workers and warn them when there are any safety issues or hazards.  Participates actively in all safety programs and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills; proficient in Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • AS400 experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including weekends
  • Previous warehouse experience a plus
