Associate Learning Designer
Position Summary:

In this highly visible and strategic role, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how we deliver learning experiences. By blending pedagogical expertise with technical innovation, you will create scalable, effective learning solutions that drive measurable improvements in student outcomes. Using our Skills-based Education framework, you will develop cutting-edge learning solutions that focus on enhancing student experiences and improving learning quality. Your work will help bridge real-world skills with job placement and performance, ensuring learner success is our key metric. You will partner with cross-functional teams to iterate and scale learning models aligned with organizational goals.
Essential Job Functions:
· Assist in the design and delivery of high-quality learning experiences focused on active learning and skills development.
· Collaborate with peers and Product teams to develop Learning Design Plans that align with course objectives.
· Evaluate existing course content for accessibility and pedagogical effectiveness, applying universal design principles.
· Leverage data and learner feedback to suggest iterative improvements to content.
· Support the implementation of learning technologies and tools under the guidance of senior team members.
· Stay updated on best practices in learning science and educational technology.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Experience: 1-3 years of experience in learning design, instructional design, or educational technology roles.
· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Learning Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field.
o Skills and Expertise:
o Basic understanding of learning science and design principles.
o Ability to create engaging, learner-centered content with guidance.
o Familiarity with accessibility standards and universal design principles.
o Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
· Tools and Systems Knowledge
o Proficiency with basic learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).
o Experience with content authoring tools like Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate.
o Basic knowledge of analytics tools for tracking learning outcomes (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics).
o Familiarity with accessibility tools and guidelines (e.g., WCAG standards).
