We are seeking applicants for an Instrumentation Technician in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic control systems and PLC’s.
• Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot DC & AC machinery.
• Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot variable speed AC & DC drives.
• Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot control equipment and instrumentation.
• Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic control equipment.
• Program electronic controllers and tune control loops.
• Documentation updates and print reading.
• Follow electrical safe practices.

Basic Qualifications: 

• High School Graduate or GED
• 3 years of experience and/or the completion of a Technical School or an apprenticeship program.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to use advanced electronic test equipment
• Ability to install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic control systems, diagrams, and PLC’s.
• Have knowledge of safe electrical work practices.
