Are you a current college student majoring in Hospitality or Business? If so, Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is looking to hire a Corporate Travel intern for their executive office building in Lake Forst, IL the summer of 2025. This internship opportunity will provide some practical knowledge and experience with commercial and private business travel.
Responsibilities Include:
- Communicate with internal and external customers to arrange commercial and private travel details including lodging, ground transportation and air.
- Assist travel team in finalizing details professionally and promptly when needed.
- Participate in Sabre travel training program to learn and monitor the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS).
- Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all customers and offer service above and beyond customer expectations.
- Take diligent notes throughout the internship on experiences and projects to give a presentation at the end of the summer.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be a currently enrolled college student majoring in Hospitality, Business or a related field and have completed their sophomore year.
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0 is required and you must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4:00pm.
- This position is hybrid with 2-3 days a week in the Lake Forest corporate office.
Abilities/Skills:
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Critical thinking and time management skills to evaluate different solutions and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Candidate must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
- Must be able to adapt to change on a consistent basis.
- Contribute efforts independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word required.
