The Senior Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst at Panoramic Health plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives across the organization. This role involves acting as the liaison between operations stakeholders and IT product teams, analyzing complex data sets and translating business needs into actionable requirements. Additionally, the Senior Business Intelligence Business Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, optimize operational efficiencies, and supports the overall success and growth of Panoramic Health.

 

Panoramic Health is seeking a talented Senior Healthcare Business Intelligence Business Analyst. The individual in this role will deliberately play multiple roles including data analyst managing IT support tickets, business analyst supporting our analytics product team requirement gathering, and Tableau developer on an as needed basis.

 

We are willing to consider candidates based on location, as this role will work remotely.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Support
    • Act as the primary point of contact responsible for the resolution of IT support tickets that get escalated to the analytics team.
    • Effectively communicate with the individuals that initiate IT support tickets and the internal IT support team as tickets are worked and closed.
    • Coordinate with product managers on various product teams to escalate IT support tickets that require additional support from technical IT teams.
  2. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze data.
    • Possess the ability to present analysis findings to both technical IT teammates and non-technical business stakeholders.
  3. Requirements Gathering:
    • Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions.
    • Ensure requirement alignment between IT product teams and business stakeholders.  
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough testing of BI solutions to ensure they meet or exceed business requirements.
    • Practice data quality best practices.
    • Perform regular audits and reviews of BI systems and processes.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve BI usability and performance.
    • Solicit feedback from stakeholders and make necessary adjustments.
    • Promote a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization.
  6. Data Visualization and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
    • Present data in a clear and concise manner to facilitate informed decision making.
    • Develop automated reports to streamline reoccurring data presentation.
  7. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
    • Maintain thorough communication throughout BI product development and release.
    • Provide training and support to users on BI products.
  8. Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the development of BI strategy and roadmap.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging BI to drive business growth and efficiency.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BI technologies.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field such as: Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or Mathematics.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, BI Developer, and/or Data Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL and querying relational databases.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing or participating in BI projects from inception to delivery.
  • Experience in the industry relevant to the business.
