Engineering Manager
*** Evenings and Weekends are a requirement for this role.
The Engineering Manager will assist in maintaining and ensuring the aesthetics and décor of all guest rooms and public areas so as to meet the established standards of OVIS. This individual will be responsible for the management of the HVAC SYSTEMS and maintenance of all kitchen equipment. This position will lead and organize the maintenance schedule of all mechanical equipment on property. This includes ordering supplies and scheduling with vendors to do yearly maintenance contracts.
Essential:

A minimum of 3 years Project Management experience that includes supervising staff and contractors, preferably in a 4-5 Diamond hotel.

Strong knowledge of design elements.

Must have self-driven initiative with ability to assess, prioritize and organize while maintaining attention to detail. Must be focused on goal accomplishment and timely completion.

Ability to anticipate and implement changes to programs as needed to meet objectives.

Strong knowledge of correct craftsmanship

Proven ability to organize and juggle multiple tasks at one time.

Proven success in communication skills that are articulate, constructive, and proactive.

3+ years of electrical experience

Knowledge of programs such as Knowcross/HotSoS/ Alice

Knowledge of Plumbing and working with natural gas equipment

Knowledge of boilers and hot water systems
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Manages and oversees all HVAC and mechanical service program property wide;

Performs daily equipment inspections.

Communicates rooms to be “out of order” to the Rooms Inventory Manager and schedules for necessary work orders.

Submits purchase order requests for equipment needs and follows-up for timely delivery of products.

Process of replacement goods and hardware as OEM equipment is no longer available.

Interface with Knowcross system to schedule and track all PM’s as they relate to the kitchens and HVAC equipment and report deficiency trends to the Director of Engineering.

Communicates with Internal Guests status of Knowcross requests.

Maintains knowledge of all Resort services/features and hours of operation.

Maintains working knowledge of all Resort and departmental policies and procedures.

Maintains complete knowledge in the use of all office equipment, computer and manual systems.

Administration of payroll functions; weekly schedules in accordance with forecast, time edits

Completes all filing and paperwork as required and directed by Director of Engineering
The salary for this position is $70,000. This is the pay for this position that the employer reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type and of size of prior property experience, location, and education.
