Job Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be part of our Human Resources team working onsite at the Ochlocknee, GA Manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for Talent Acquisition processes while factoring in the long-term goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative strategies, such as our brandling initiative, to building pipeline for potential talent.
- Administers candidate sourcing for regular and temporary plant staff including job marketing, representing the company i.e., planning and attending job/career fairs and job postings.
- Handles full life cycle recruitment providing a full range of day-to-day Talent Acquisition support including staffing, onboarding activities, teammate relations and retention.
- Responsible for sourcing and recruiting salaried and hourly teammates including entry-level through senior management.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand needs, ensuring alignment between job descriptions, and target candidate profiles.
- Screen candidates to assess suitability for current and future positions.
- Administers the employability, aptitude, and skills assessments. Manage testing facilities and testing data to and ensure compliance with vendor, administrator, and user requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain hiring, retention, and succession data.
- Work closely with the HRIS Manager to collect and coordinate data talent pool translating data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
- Help identify key motivators against competitors.
- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally with community involvement.
- Conduct presentations, training, and business cases.
- Assist HR team as needed including HR projects.
- Leads and participates in teammate relationship building, encouraging meaningful relationships amongst teammates and management by coordinating and executing special events such as company picnics, holiday celebrations, etc.
- Lead or assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 – 5 years of experience with talent/resource management.
- Experience with creative sourcing of Salaried and Hourly candidates in a high-volume, fast-paced Manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Great communication skills, articulate and ready to take charge of the situation.
- Recruiting metrics creation and maintenance strongly preferred
- Expertise in full-cycle recruiting
- Proficiency with handling hard to close candidates in a competitive market.
- Experience or exposure recruiting from trade schools and local community organizations.
- Manufacturing Recruiting experience, especially in adverse conditions strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and operate with strong ethical capacity.
