Job Overview:
Manage Sales of Oil-Dri’s Fluid Purification Products in the Southern Region of North America. This position will both manage and help grow sales of bleaching clay and Ultra-Clear adsorbents in the region. Communication with customers, IC research, planning and internal support for employees to meet budgeted goals for the region. All aspects of account management and new sales development for the region in the Southern US. Manage the P&L of the region and work closely with the North American Sales Manager of the division to grow this region profitably. This position is a home-based with access to an airport that can economically fly the Sales Manager to active and prospective customers.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with North American Sales Manager and company support groups to win new business and strengthen relationship with existing customers.
• 40% Travel is required for this position
• Establish contracts with customers in Southern Region of US
• Help manage freight and deliveries to active customers
• Work with legal and management to manage corporate accounts
• Provide technical product information via Teams or Ring calls and personal sales visits and incorporate support of other technical team personnel to support the sale of our adsorbent products
• Work with the North American Sales Manager and Finance support to establish pricing for the region
• Draft quarterly reports on this sales region to share with the CEO of the company
• Help develop and implement a product use training course to our customers plant personnel and customer management team
• Be proficient with computer skills to support our customers and internal support teams
• Help develop the budget for your region with the North American Sales Manager and the General Manger
• Put together a sales plan for the region
• Energetic person that is willing to do what it takes to support the growth of our business unit
• Participate in customer plant evaluations of our adsorbent products
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Good technical skills obtained in manufacturing environment preferably in edible oil refining
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or University degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A person that is a team player and knows how to work in a team environment
• Proficient with computer skills: Word, Excel and Windows
• Possess the Code of Conduct of Oil-Dri with regard to ethics and honesty
• A person with good planning and time management skills
• Good process skills
• Good decision making and judgment skills
