Your mission in the Dart team:
At TouchTunes, your work matters! As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting production operations for a fun and exciting business, manufacturing soft-tip, digital dartboards. This role collaborates with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to troubleshoot production issues, manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). You will also focus on continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing implementation, and maintaining accurate manufacturing documentation to enhance efficiency and compliance with quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency within a dynamic production environment. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to continuous improvement.
Your day-to-day:
- Optimize and refine manufacturing processes by designing, modifying, and testing production methods and equipment.
- Provide hands-on support to resolve technical issues on the shop floor and ensure smooth production operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and process flow diagrams.
- Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure seamless integration of design updates into production.
- Conduct Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reviews and collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met before mass production.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align production goals and maintain compliance with quality control standards.
- Implement and support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including self-balancing cells.
- Train production staff on efficient assembly processes, material handling and quality control
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot shop floor issues.
- Extensive experience in electromechanical box-build production, including assembly, integration, and testing of complex systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Proven ability to develop and implement new processes to enhance production efficiency and throughput through the use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and workflows (e.g., Arena Empower).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build rapport, communicate, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all skill levels.
