Job Summary:
This role will provide effective support to the external customer and to the outside regional sales team with a focus on lead generation to meet sales goals.
What you will do:
- Provide direct sales support for Senior/Regional Managers to include: Order entry while traveling, assisting with quoting customers including gathering costs/lead times, and updating CRM systems.
- Champion customer service by working with Sales Management to communicate issues involving customer orders, products, samples, etc., when regional managers are not available.
- Actively make outbound sales calls to generate leads and set appointments for each territory.
- Must be able to work both independently and within a team according to the overall strategy with guidance from Menardi sales process.
- Maintain, process, and monitor customer order platforms (minimum twice daily) and enter invoices for necessary portals. This includes FAX monitoring.
- Participate in sales trainings and help development new training modules for both customers and sales.
- Take an active role in the sales process to improve and increase productivity where needed.
- Develop working knowledge of CRM system for report capability, to support to the Menardi sales team on CRM needs, and assist with historical documentation.
- Respond quickly to customers and other team members.
- Provide backup for order entry role.
- Assist Marketing Specialist when necessary to organize tradeshows and conferences.
We believe you have:
Your Experience & Education
- Minimum AS degree, BA or BS degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 yrs experience in Inside Sales
