Job Summary:

The Product Center Engineer will work on global and international projects to manage the technical aspect of our products. Responsibilities include but are not limited to product maintenance, handling the technical facets of claims and tasks, and testing products to ensure guideline standards and functionality.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Production Maintenance

  • Present and drive product maintenance, renovations, customizations, and product phase-outs according to Nederman project methodology
  • Lead and manage product maintenance projects and customizations independently
  • Lead and coordinate automation and digitalization of products/applications

 

Product Quality

  • Proficiency in RCA via Kaizen methodology, assisting in claims handling and
    implementation of product quality improvements
  • Own and independently drive product failure meetings
  • Support cost-cut projects and development projects with a higher quality

 

Technical Support

  • Maintain and manage current and future technical product systems
  • Production support for the NML and related entities.

Project Management

  • Designing, conceptualizing and develop new products and prototypes as well as performing testing and verification with extensive use of  modern design tools (3D CAD, Project Management tools etc.)
  • Work with procurement with suppliers to support product development and prototyping
  • Independently lead local projects and project teams, as needed, according to a structured and defined project management model
  • Interact and coordinate with multidisciplinary and international product development and launch teams to facilitate product launch in the appropriate market.
  • Comply with Design control processes while implementing prototype redesign and changes.

 

Qualifications
Your Experience & Education

  • Bachelor in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
  • 3-4 years of experience preferred
  • Certificate or highly proven proficiency in design tools such as 3D CAD, Math Lab or Solid Works
  • Extensive experience from systematic project management methodology is a must
  • Certificate or proven proficiency in Project Management is a plus
  • High level of proficiency in virtual project platforms such as Teams, MS Project etc. is a must
  • Experience in working in international projects and platforms is a plus
