TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

Minimal, less than 10%.

 

HOURS and SCHEDULE:

Generally, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (minimum 37.5 hours within five (5) days per week); unless otherwise required or approved by management.

 

REPORTS TO:

This position reports to the Senior Director, Digital Fundraising


SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

The Manager of Digital Giving is occasionally responsible for recruiting, managing, and supervising interns on behalf of NCMEC’s development department.

 

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT:
Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Manager of Digital Giving is responsible for developing and managing content for NCMEC’s annual giving campaigns, overseeing peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, and proactively recruiting and supporting online fundraising opportunities. This role requires expertise in digital fundraising, content development, and marketing strategy, with a focus on donor engagement, online acquisition, and campaign analytics.

 

Under the leadership of the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Manager of Digital Giving will work closely with the Marketing, and Communications & Brand Divisions to ensure that all digital giving campaigns are strategically aligned, data-driven, and impactful. Additionally, this role will develop and deploy strategies to engage third-party event hosts and partners, while managing volunteer engagement through digital platforms.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fundraising Content Development

  • Develop and manage content for all annual giving campaigns, including online donation pages, peer-to-peer fundraising, recurring donor and digital donor engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across the organization to create and execute fundraising campaigns (email, social media, website content) that drive donor acquisition, retention, and conversion.
  • Lead the creation and management of content for digital fundraising campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and storytelling best practices.
  • Optimize digital fundraising efforts using A/B testing, segmentation, and automation strategies to maximize engagement and donations.

Campaign Management & Peer-to-Peer Fundraising

  • Oversee peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, providing support and strategic guidance to donors using NCMEC’s fundraising platforms.
  • Set-up, manage and optimize peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Account Engagement Cloud to ensure seamless donor engagement and contribution tracking.
  • Proactively recruit and engage peer-to-peer fundraisers and recurring donors leveraging social media and digital outreach to maximize participation.
  • Oversee tracking and optimization of donor conversion rates from email, social media, and other multi-channel marketing efforts in partnership with the fundraising Division.
  • Develop and execute third-party fundraising strategies, including strengthening relationships with existing event hosts and cultivating new fundraising partners ($5K+ fundraisers).

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, donors, and corporate sponsors, ensuring alignment with fundraising priorities.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams and external vendors to execute campaigns effectively, ensuring cross-functional alignment.

Data & Performance Analytics

  • Develop data-driven reports to measure campaign performance, optimize marketing strategies, and establish key benchmarks using Salesforce CRM.
  • Use analytics to provide clearly defined recommendations for future digital giving strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in peer-to-peer fundraising, donor engagement, and social giving, ensuring NCMEC remains competitive in the digital fundraising space.
  • Manage donor data integrity, segmentation, and reporting with Salesforce and integrated platforms to support peer-to-peer outreach and campaign effectiveness.
  • Track and report progress toward specific fundraising and engagement metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet organizational goals.
  • Support troubleshooting and testing technical issues related to the donation processing, donor records, and platform integrations, working with IT team as needed for resolution.

Event & Operational Support

  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and support of on-site fundraising events, including

occasional weekend and after-hours work as needed.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, digital marketing trends, and industry best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of three of years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with digital platforms such as Salesforce and Classy.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated success developing and managing external partnership program, utilizing digital platforms to expand an organization’s footprint and advance individual fundraising initiatives online.
  • Experience running and managing peep-to-peer giving campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as creating innovative giving programs, crafting e-appeals, campaigns, and promotions to raise the funds vital to NCMEC’s mission.
  • Ability to use data and Salesforce to set fundraising strategies, measure outcomes, and drive superior performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be comfortable with details and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
