Finance Representative I
The Finance Representative I plays a vital role within the company’s revenue-booking department. The primary responsibilities include managing Accounts Receivable, utilizing Financial A/R systems daily, applying payments, conducting cash research, and posting and reconciling transactions to both the general and subsidiary ledgers. This position ensures the accurate and timely recording of financial data to support overall financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cash research for misapplied, unapplied, unallocated, or returned items, and process payment
applications for home delivery, single copy, and commercial accounts. - Calculate and process debits, credits, and other accounting entries as necessary.
- Analyze financial data and prepare assigned reports.
- Provide support to various department functions, including home delivery, single copy, and commercial financial
operations, as needed. - Deliver high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Rotate through different roles within the department for cross-training and to meet business needs.
- Perform data entry in financial A/R systems to ensure accurate records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business degree
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets and Docs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team objectives.
- Strong foundation in accounting fundamentals
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues and manage customer expectations
- Proficient in 10-key data entry with high accuracy
- Must have reliable transportation for in-office work.

The pay scale the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting is $22.00 to $24.00 and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licenses, certifications, and other business or organizational needs. Compensation will be determined based on the above factors along with the requirements of the position. At the L.A.
