Records Management Associate
Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Records Management & Support department has an immediate opening for a Records Management Associate! As a Records Management Associate, you will be responsible for the following:
- Organizing, converting, retaining, and destroying corporate documents, member account records, and historical artifacts stored in the TFCU Records Center and at third-party facilities.
- Ensuring the secure transportation of records and artifacts to and from the TFCU Records Center.
- Responsible for the efficient and systematic disposal of these records according to the rules and regulations defined by TFCU retention guidelines.
Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $19.25 per hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday-Friday
Education/Experience:
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience as related to the position is preferred. Credit Union experience is preferred.
Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
- Valid Driver’s License maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- TFCU University certification required.
Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Records Management Associate, you must possess these qualifications:
- An ability to lift 40+ pounds routinely throughout the workday.
- Must be flexible to travel on and off between TFCU Corporate Offices in OKC & TFCU Facilities department in Midwest City in a TFCU provided vehicle.
- The ability to work both in a warehouse type environment and an office type environment.
- Knowledge of TFCU policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the Privacy Act.
- Ability to understand and use mechanical equipment, including but not limited to, commercial shredders, dollies, and lift equipment.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision/direction.
- Apply integrity in handling sensitive and confidential records and data.
